Auto Hauler Gear was built by a car hauler. Not a corporation.
What started behind the wheel as a company driver eventually grew into owning my own Boydstun car hauler and spending years learning what operators actually need on the road. One thing always stood out: Boydstun-style hooks worked incredibly well, but they were hard to get, and when you could find quality straps built the right way, they were outrageously expensive.
With fuel, insurance, maintenance, permits, and all the other costs that come with car hauling, dependable securement equipment should not have to cost a fortune.
That is why I started Auto Hauler Gear.
AHG was founded with one goal in mind - to provide high quality car hauling equipment designed by someone who actually uses it. From Low Pro Hook tie-downs inspired by the proven Boydstun-style design to premium webbing and hauling accessories, every product is focused on durability, performance, and protecting your equipment on the road.
KARBON Series webbing is built for hardworking operators who take pride in their equipment and expect their gear to perform day after day. I understand the demands of the industry because I live it, and I believe operators deserve access to reliable, high-quality equipment without paying outrageous prices.

KARBON DUO is a premium car-hauler tie-down under the KARBON Series product line. It was designed as a next-generation alternative to traditional soft tie straps, focused on higher durability, affordability, and of course, Low Pro Hooks.
Low Pro Hook HD: This innovative design is based on the original Boydstun-style Low Pro Hook. Designed to dramatically increase strength over the original Boydstun style Hook and reduce or virtually eliminate transport damage to wheels, tires, paint, and aluminum trailer decking. The Low Pro Hook’s smooth, low-profile edges prevent accelerated strap wear caused by the sharp edges and bulky design of traditional swivel J hooks.
DUO: The "Duo" name comes from its specialized dual-braided webbing design, which maximizes tension strength and abrasion resistance.
16,500 lbs Break Strength: What this really translates to is more fibers, more durability, and extended longevity.
AHG Cleats: Auto Hauler Gear’s Original low-profile tire grip or tread grip designed to improve traction and strap stability during vehicle transport. They are based around the industry standard grip sleeves with a throwback to the versatility of rubber blocks. Built with rubber tread on both sides, these three 3.5 inch block allows the operator to more easily spread strap traction across tire tread or slide them up and out of the way.
